Adam Beach will star opposite "Stone Cold" Steve Austin in "The Stranger," an action vehicle for the wrestling star being directed by Rob Lieberman. Nasser Entertainment Group and Caliber Media are financing and producing. The man-on-the-run story follows an FBI agent (Beach) who is tracking down a material witness (Austin) involved in a top-secret investigation. Erica Cerra, best known from the SyFy series "Eureka" who also is cast in Fox's "Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief," will play a psychiatrist involved in the case.Jack and Joe Nasser are producing with Caliber's Jack Heller and Dallas Sonnier."Stranger" begins lensing this week in Vancouver.It will be the second film on which Austin, NEG and Caliber have partnered. The first, "Damage," a bare-knuckles fight film, is looking at a 2010 theatrical release.Beach, repped by ICM and manager Daniel Spilo, will have a featured role on the next season of HBO's "Big Love."

Nasser Entertainment, led by brothers Joseph and Jack Nasser, has taken that question which which was the basis of Charles Sheldon's enormously successful best-selling novel In His Steps: What Would Jesus Do and produced the film, WWJD: The Movie.

Stone Cold Steve Austin, Nasser Entertainment Group and Caliber Media Co. are teaming for the action-thriller "The Stranger" says The Hollywood Reporter.The film will be directed by Rob Lieberman in Vancouver this summer for a release in 2010.The trio have just completed principal photography on "Damage", a fight film directed by Jeff King and starring Walton Goggins, Laura Vandervort and Donnelly Rhodes.

Nasser Entertainment Group and Caliber Media Co. have wrapped principal photography on “Damage,” starring former wrestling superstar Stone Cold Steve Austin. The hard-edged, bare-knuckles fight film is directed by Jeff King and also stars Walton Goggins (''The Sheild''), Laura Vandervoort (''Smallville'') and Donnelly Rhodes (''Battlestar Gallactica''). A Domestic theatrical deal will be announced in the coming weeks.Austin, NEG and Caliber have partnered again on another film entitled “The Stranger,” which will begin shooting this summer in Vancouver. The project is described as a layered action picture in the vein of “The Fugitive” and “The Bourne Identity” with production set to begin in late May 2009 with Rob Lieberman (Dexter, The Tortured) directing.In addition to “Damage,” Austin will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame at WWE Hall of Fame at Wrestlemania XV. He also recently joined the mega-cast of the Sylvester Stallone film “The Expendables” alongside Mickey Rourke, Jet Li, and Jason Statham.
